Ford PJ PK Ranger BT50 Gen1 Roadsafe Top shock reinforcing supports
Mazda BT50 and Ford Ranger have been known to experience cracking in the front top shock mounts when upgraded heavy duty shocks have been installed.
When these mounts crack, the top of the shock becomes free.
The Roadsafe Shock Reinforcing Brackets are designed to reinforce this area of the top mount.
Roadsafe offer a great range of bracketry to aid in either strengthening or supporting identified weak areas of the vehicle. Most of these weak areas are as of a result of the changes that have been made to the vehicle with the upgrade in strength of other componentry, addition of accessories, lifts or even the way you use your vehicle.
If you were driving on a standard street with no modifications, none of this strengthening would be necessary. However if your vehicle isn't standard and you push it harder than the manufacturer intended when designed and additional stress is put on your vehicle, these are an inexpensive way to strengthen up the factory brackets.
*Please note, sold as a pair.
